This Sunday, April 28th, the second debate between the candidates for the Presidency of the Republic took place: Claudia Sheinbaum of the coalition "Let's Keep Making History," Xóchitl Gálvez of the coalition "Strength and Heart for Mexico," and Jorge Álvarez Máynez of the Citizen Movement, at the Churubusco Studios.

Regarding this, Xóchitl Gálvez stated that she has led a life free of corrupt acts, as there is no evidence that she has committed the crimes she has been accused of, especially since Claudia Sheinbaum did not dare to respond to any of her allegations.

"A much better format, much more comfortable, I think standing up, you can look at your camera, you can have a better command of the stage; my camera was very well positioned, now it was totally in front of me, in the past it was on the right side, very uncomfortable, you didn't have advisors in front, everyone moving around where I was in the debate, the format was much better, much more the possibility of using our five minutes to debate among ourselves."

In an interview with Sergio Sarmiento and Lupita Juárez on Heraldo Radio, broadcasting on 98.5 FM, the PRI-PAN-PRD candidate highlighted that she liked the format of this second encounter more because it allowed better mobility between the candidates and fewer distractions.

"These were not easy topics, the economic issue, I wanted to raise a topic that is seldom discussed, which is extortion, I started with that and with the issue of employment, Claudia Sheinbaum lost jobs."

Regarding the accusations she made against her Morena opponent, she said that she did not dare to respond to any of them because she has no way to defend herself. However, she defended the fact that everything she has she has earned honestly, stating that she has not committed any acts of corruption.

"Let's focus on the real issues, she set back employment, she set back on the issue of water, she can't answer, I raised the topics, and she didn't dare to respond. There's no way she can prove a corruption act in my life, I don't have a single penny of dirty money in my life, being a businessman is not a crime."

Accusations of persecution

Xóchitl Gálvez said that she has been politically persecuted by the current government and Morena, but despite all these investigations, they have not been able to prove any act of corruption against her.

"They have pursued me. They have looked for me, they went into my company's accounts, my accounts, my client's accounts, they made them public, they turned my life upside down."
