Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign outlined her optimistic vision for the presidential race, aiming to win over undecided voters ahead of the upcoming November 5 elections.

Jen O'Malley Dillon, the campaign chair, highlighted that this shift in the race has created an "expanded universe" of undecided voters, presenting a significant opportunity.

"Trump has not managed to expand his support. This has become evident over the past month, where he failed to attract new voters following the debate and the Republican National Convention," Dillon said.

On the opposition side, Trump labeled Harris as "dumb as a rock" on social media and has mispronounced her name for years, a practice repeated by several speakers at the Republican National Convention.

Trump and his allies have used similar tactics in the past, mocking Hillary Clinton simply for being a woman.

BIDEN STATES HIS REASONS

In his speech yesterday, President Joe Biden emphasized that defending democracy is more important than any title and that his decision not to run for re-election aims to unite the Democratic Party and pave the way for younger leaders.

"The best way to unite a divided country is to pass the torch to a new generation," he said, pointing to Vice President Kamala Harris as the figure destined to continue his legacy.

He insisted that his decision is not related to health issues. "Over the next six months, I will continue to reduce costs for working families and grow our economy," he said.
