Humberto Hernández Haddad ratified as Consul of Mexico in Austin, Texas

Humberto Hernández Haddad was ratified as Consul of Mexico in Austin, Texas, by the Senate of the Republic with unanimous votes, totaling 105. The appointment of Ana Luisa Vallejo Barba as Consul General of Mexico in San Francisco, California, was also ratified. 

"By unanimous vote, with 105 votes in favor, Humberto Hernández Haddad is ratified as Consul of Mexico in Austin, Texas, USA," reads the publication shared on the X Senate of Mexico's account, along with a photograph of the diplomat with his job title. 

The President of the Senate's Directing Board, Senator Ana Lilia Rivera Rivera, presided over the corresponding swearing-in ceremony of the diplomatic personnel before the Assembly and wished both success in their new diplomatic positions. 

Humberto Hernández Haddad holds a degree in Law and has had a distinguished diplomatic career, including his previous position as Consul General of Mexico in San Antonio, Texas. He has received recognition for his work, such as the Commander's Award for Public Service, granted by the United States government for his performance as Consul General of Mexico in that country.
