Representatives of U.S. political parties in Mexico emphasized that regardless of who wins the U.S. presidential election on November 5, it will be crucial to prioritize issues such as the economy, drug trafficking management, and immigration.

During the "USA Route 2024" Analysis Panel on the program "Referente de la noche" with Javier Solórzano for El Heraldo Televisión, the profiles of the candidates from the Democratic and Republican parties were discussed in the context of the 2024 presidential elections.

Larry Rubin, president of the American Society of Mexico and representative of the Republican Party, noted that candidate Donald Trump is implementing a new campaign strategy highlighting the USMCA (T-MEC). He stated that the magnate cannot close the border.

An important point of debate was the inclusion of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a lawyer, politician, and anti-vaccine activist, in Trump’s team.

On the other hand, Edgar López, spokesperson for the Democratic Party in Mexico, highlighted the leadership and capability of Kamala Harris. He emphasized two key points in her speech: the need for immigration reform and the promotion of an inclusive economy.

López denounced that Republicans are launching misogynistic attacks on Kamala.
