The driver of truck #26 from the Alessandros Racing team secured victory in the tenth round of the Trucks México Series, which took place at the Óvalo Aguascalientes México (OAM). This win came after a remarkable comeback in a complex and highly competitive race.

For the Texas-born driver, this marks his second victory of the season with the Alessandros Racing team, supported by Heraldo Media Group, Grupo Andrade, Grupo Santana Vega, Fipresta, Global Jet Set, and Gestomex. He achieved this triumph starting from the twelfth position on the grid.

The performance of truck #26 improved throughout the weekend. While practice sessions placed him in the top 10, qualifying left him a bit further back. However, during the 90-lap race on the 1.4-kilometer oval, he steadily advanced, making overtakes that pushed him toward the lead.

In the first stage, Helio Meza maintained a cautious approach but began to push forward after a strong pit stop that moved him into P2 when the race resumed after the competition caution. In the following laps, the lead changed hands several times, but the most intense action came in the final 10 laps. The decisive move came on the penultimate lap when he took the lead and held onto it to secure his second checkered flag of the season.

"I'm very grateful to the team for their trust and for providing me with a competitive truck. We achieved this second victory, and we want to finish the season with more podiums. I've learned a lot, and I think that will help me keep advancing in the championship," said Meza.

Nascar México Series

In the NASCAR México Series, the driver of car #28, Rubén Rovelo, faced challenges after an early contact in the 170-lap race at the Aguascalientes track. However, thanks to good strategy and driving, he managed to climb up the ranks, eventually finishing in P7.

Meanwhile, in the NASCAR Challenge, Eliud Treviño in car #26 secured fifth place, while Marco Marín in car #63 finished in sixth.

Both drivers earned valuable points, securing their spots in the playoffs, where they will compete for the category championship.
The next event for Alessandros Racing will be on September 22nd, when their drivers will compete at the Autódromo EcoCentro Querétaro.
